Porch & Plot is operated by Worth a Shot, LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name or address. Two things happen automatically when you visit:
- Aggregate traffic measurement. We count page views and referrers so we know which guides are read. This is aggregate and is not used to identify you.
- Advertising. The advertisements on this site are served by third parties, described below.
Advertising and cookies
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to measure how many people saw an ad, to limit how often you see the same one, and — depending on your consent and your location — to show ads related to your interests.
Google is one of these vendors. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review and change your Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of personalised advertising from many vendors at optout.aboutads.info or youradchoices.com.
If you are in the EEA or the UK
We rely on your consent for advertising and measurement cookies, collected through a consent notice when you first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time through that notice. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data relating to you, and to complain to your national supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising technologies may nevertheless qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA as amended. You may opt out using the Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour, or by contacting us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
